Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Review and process invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvals.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure compliance with financial policies and budgets.
- Prepare financial statements, assist with tax returns and ensure statutory compliance.
- Participate in budgeting, financial forecasting, and provide analytical support for budget development.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Support internal and external audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives within financial operations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and respond to financial inquiries as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- First Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
- Professional designation such as ACA is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations is an asset.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, networking, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality appropriate to the position.
- Experience collaborating across departments and managing stakeholder relationships.
