Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time role that offers the opportunity to oversee key financial processes, support operational and strategic goals, and maintain compliance with accounting standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Review and process invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvals.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure compliance with financial policies and budgets.
  • Prepare financial statements, assist with tax returns and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Participate in budgeting, financial forecasting, and provide analytical support for budget development.
  • Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  • Support internal and external audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives within financial operations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and respond to financial inquiries as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • First Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Professional designation such as ACA is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, networking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality appropriate to the position.
  • Experience collaborating across departments and managing stakeholder relationships.
