Summary
- We are looking for an experienced Agronomist to join our team at Kulla Farms.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of all aspects of crop production, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest management, harvesting in both greenhouse and open field, and ability to manage a team of growers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of crop production, from planting to harvest.
- Develop and implement crop production plans.
- Monitor crop growth and development.
- Identify and diagnose pests and diseases.
- Implement pest and disease management strategies.
- Manage irrigation and fertilization schedules.
- Ensure crops meet quality standards.
- Willing to work in open field cultivation.
- Manage a team of growers.
- Any other tasks assigned by manager.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial crop production
- Strong understanding of crop physiology and agronomy
- Experience with pest and disease management
- Experience with irrigation and fertilization management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
