Job Summary

  • The Junior Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial and project teams in cost estimation, measurement, and financial management of construction projects.
  • This role is suitable for a graduate or entry-level Quantity Surveyor seeking practical experience in project costing and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents.
  • Take site measurements and prepare quantity take-offs.
  • Support cost control, budgeting, and expenditure tracking for projects.
  • Assist in preparing valuations, progress reports, and final accounts.
  • Help monitor variations and claims under the supervision of a senior QS.
  • Liaise with site teams, contractors, and suppliers as required.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of project costs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Graduate Quantity Surveyor (NYSC pending or completed).
  • Basic knowledge of construction costing and contract administration.
  • Familiarity with QS software and Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good communication and numerical skills.
