Sinoma Nigeria is mainly responsible for project management and services in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and West Africa. Scope of business includes but not limited to fabricating, Industry Constructional Engineering, Civil Constructional Engineering, etc.
Position Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the structural engineering aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that they are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare structural design drawings, and specifications.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the safety and stability of structures.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs with overall project requirements.
- Review and interpret engineering blueprints, technical specifications, and other design documents.
- Identify and resolve design issues promptly to avoid project delays.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred.
- Minimum of 4years of experience in structural design engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and Revit.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
