Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Architect to lead architectural design, coordination, and site execution on complex construction projects.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proven site experience, and the ability to translate design intent into high-quality built outcomes while coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design development from concept through construction and project completion.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with statutory requirements, building codes, and client specifications.
- Provide architectural oversight and technical guidance during construction, including regular site inspections.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, and mock-ups for compliance with design intent.
- Resolve architectural design issues arising on site and issue clarifications as required.
- Support value engineering, cost optimization, and constructability reviews.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout construction stages.
- Prepare progress reports and contribute to project meetings and technical reviews.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in architectural design and construction.
- Full professional registration and relevant certification (e.g., NIA, ARCON or equivalent).
- Strong site-based experience on large-scale building and/or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience working within multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
