Job Description

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Architect to lead architectural design, coordination, and site execution on complex construction projects.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proven site experience, and the ability to translate design intent into high-quality built outcomes while coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design development from concept through construction and project completion.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
  • Ensure designs comply with statutory requirements, building codes, and client specifications.
  • Provide architectural oversight and technical guidance during construction, including regular site inspections.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review shop drawings, material submissions, and mock-ups for compliance with design intent.
  • Resolve architectural design issues arising on site and issue clarifications as required.
  • Support value engineering, cost optimization, and constructability reviews.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout construction stages.
  • Prepare progress reports and contribute to project meetings and technical reviews.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in architectural design and construction.
  • Full professional registration and relevant certification (e.g., NIA, ARCON or equivalent).
  • Strong site-based experience on large-scale building and/or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience working within multidisciplinary construction teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
