The AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) Champion is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AEO compliance standards across the organization. The role ensures adherence to customs, trade security, and supply chain compliance requirements while working closely with internal teams to maintain AEO certification readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and maintenance of AEO compliance requirements in line with customs and regulatory standards.
Monitor and document AEO-related processes, controls, and procedures across operations.
Conduct routine self-assessments and internal compliance checks to identify gaps and improvement areas.
Coordinate with relevant departments (logistics, warehouse, finance, security, and operations) to ensure AEO requirements are embedded in daily activities.
Maintain accurate AEO documentation and records for audits, reviews, and regulatory inspections.
Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives related to AEO compliance.
Serve as a point of contact for internal AEO-related awareness and basic training.
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
Entry level or minimum of one (1) year relevant experience.
Basic understanding of customs procedures, trade compliance, or supply chain security (AEO knowledge is an advantage).
Computer savvy, with good documentation and reporting skills.
Strong attention to detail and compliance orientation.
Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
