Summary:

The HR Lead will oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, talent management, and facilities management services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall hiring.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain compensation plan and benefits program
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs

Technical Competencies:

  • Proven work experience as a HR professional 
  • Proven track record in employee relations management, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Hands-on experience managing compensation, benefits, and rewards.
  • Experience working closely with leadership and providing HR advisory and decision support.
  • Strong exposure to labour law, regulatory compliance, and HR risk management.
  • People oriented and results driven.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned to business goals.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Strategic Thinking & Conflict Resolution
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g. CIPM, HRCI, SHRM) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience 
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations relevant to the media industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
