Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy school environment at all times.
- Carrying out daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, laboratories, hostels, toilets, and other school facilities.
- Proper disposal of waste in accordance with environmental and health standards.
- Assisting in maintaining school gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces.
- Reporting damages, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate authorities.
- Supporting sanitation exercises, fumigation, and environmental health inspections.
- Adhering strictly to school hygiene, safety, and environmental policies.
- Assisting during school events to ensure environmental cleanliness before, during, and after activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of SSCE qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role is an added advantage
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and able to perform assigned duties
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Honest, reliable, and hardworking
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
