Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons across various levels (e.g., Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Statistics).
- Student Engagement: Create an environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and ask "why?"
- Assessment & Tracking: Use data to monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and personalized support.
- Innovation: Integrate technology and real-world applications (like finance, engineering, or coding) into the classroom.
- Collaboration: Work with the STEM department to develop interdisciplinary projects.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Certification: Valid teaching license/certification for the relevant grade levels.
- Skills: * Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, relatable terms.
- Proficiency in use of the computer and educational software
- Strong classroom management and emotional intelligence.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience is a plus, but we welcome energetic Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
