Job Summary
- The Machine Operator – Blow Fill is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining blow fill machinery used in the production of plastic containers and packaging.
- The role ensures production targets are met while maintaining quality standards, safety compliance, and equipment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor blow fill machines to produce plastic bottles/containers according to specifications.
- Set up machines, including mold changes, adjustments, and start-up procedures.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
- Monitor production output and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues and report major issues to maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Follow all safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and company policies.
- Keep work area clean and organized in accordance with housekeeping standards.
- Assist with preventive maintenance activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience operating blow fill or blow molding machinery (preferred).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and quality specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
