Role Overview:
- The Head of Business & Key Accounts will lead revenue growth, manage key client relationships, and drive strategic business initiatives. This role also oversees the integration of marketing communications in client solutions, ensuring every partnership benefits from clear, effective, and impactful messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Growth Strategy
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to grow revenue.
- Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business decisions.
Key Account Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for top-tier clients, ensuring strong relationships and high satisfaction.
- Understand client objectives and design tailored media solutions that incorporate effective marketing communications.
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions to optimize client value and profitability.
Marketing Communications Integration
- Ensure all client projects incorporate strategic messaging and marketing communication principles.
- Collaborate with creative, production, and digital teams to deliver campaigns that enhance client visibility and engagement.
- Advise clients on communication strategies, campaign ideas, and brand positioning to maximize impact.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor the business development and account management team.
- Foster collaboration across teams to ensure smooth execution of client projects.
- Promote a performance-driven culture focused on revenue growth, client satisfaction, and strategic communication excellence.
Revenue & Performance Management
- Set targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the team.
- Monitor and report on client activity, revenue growth, and campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure accurate billing, collections, and financial tracking for key accounts.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–7 years’ experience in business development, account management, or marketing communications.
- Proven ability to manage key accounts, drive revenue growth, and integrate marketing communications into client solutions.
- Considerable experience with a Creative, Media, and Marketing Agency.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
