- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Microbiology Lecturer to join our faculty. Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in microbiology, advising students, and contributing to the growth and development of the College.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate students’ learning and contribute to curriculum development.
- Coordinate classroom and laboratory activities, evaluate student learning and maintain academic records and attendance.
- Develop scholarly pedagogic outputs such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts.
- Promote collegiality within the academic community by serving on committees, participating in faculty and staff meetings and departmental activities.
- Stay current in the academic discipline through professional development opportunities.
- Be available for academic support outside of the classroom.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications/Experience
- B.Sc. in Microbiology.
- Must possess a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Good knowledge of ICT and e-learning tools
