Job Summary
- We are a growing liquor, wine, and beverages company seeking a dynamic Business Developer & Event Planner to drive sales growth and coordinate brand events.
- The role involves attracting new customers, building partnerships with lounges, retailers, and corporates, while planning promotional and tasting events to increase market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new retail, corporate, and hospitality clients for our liquor and wine products
- Develop strategies to increase product sales, distribution, and brand visibility
- Build and maintain strong relationships with bars, restaurants, event centers, and distributors
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, and supply agreements
- Plan and execute product launches, wine tastings, promos, and brand activation events
- Coordinate vendors, venues, and logistics for marketing events
- Manage social media promotions and in-store marketing activities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Ensure excellent customer experience before, during, and after events
- Meet monthly sales and business development targets
Requirements
- HND/BSc in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field with 2 - 4 years of work experience.
- Experience in sales, beverages, FMCG, or event planning is an advantage
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Passion for wines, spirits, and the hospitality industry
- Ability to work weekends or evenings when required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media marketing.
Salary and Benefits
- N180,000 – N200,000 monthly
- HMO (Health Insurance)
- Annual leave allowance.
