We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic financial decision-making.
The ideal candidate should havestrong technical accounting skills, leadership ability, and a deep understanding of financial regulations and controls.
Responsibilties
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and applicable regulatory requirements
Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting
Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit activities
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff
Support tax preparation and filings in coordination with tax advisors
Improve accounting processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience is required.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
