Job Summary

  • The Cashier is responsible for handling all customer transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring a positive customer experience while maintaining proper cash handling procedures and store policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
  • Handle cash, card, and other payment methods securely.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Assist in balancing the cash register at the start and end of shifts.
  • Report any discrepancies, shortages, or suspicious activities to the supervisor.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns professionally.
