We are looking to hire a dependable and experienced Delivery Rider to support our solar energy operations by handling courier and logistics activities. The role involves the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of solar products, official documents, and related materials to clients and company locations. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient logistics processes and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Safely collect and deliver solar products, documents, and parcels within assigned locations
Ensure timely deliveries by planning effective routes and managing time efficiently
Complete all delivery documentation accurately and obtain necessary acknowledgements
Load and unload items with care to avoid damage
Provide delivery updates and confirmations as required
Maintain proper delivery records including delivery time, recipient details, and feedback
Interact with customers professionally and courteously during deliveries
Perform routine motorcycle checks (fuel, oil, brakes, tires) before and after trips
Keep the assigned motorcycle clean, functional, and well-maintained
Comply fully with traffic regulations, safety rules, and company policies
Assist the logistics and operations team when needed
Promptly report accidents, breakdowns, or mechanical faults
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent
Valid rider’s license and permits (mandatory)
At least two (2) years of experience as a delivery or dispatch rider
Strong understanding of Lagos road networks, routes, shortcuts, and traffic laws
Ability to use GPS tools such as Google Maps effectively
Physically fit and capable of long-distance riding and moderate lifting
Punctual, dependable, honest, and trustworthy
Basic literacy with good verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation and ability to coordinate with internal teams
Clean riding history with no record of unsafe driving
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
