Job Summary
- The Clean Room Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of clean room environments in the manufacturing facility.
- This role involves performing cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure that the clean room meets strict cleanliness and contamination control standards necessary for the production of syringes and other medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and Sanitization:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of clean room surfaces, including floors, walls, ceilings, and equipment.
- Use approved cleaning agents and techniques to ensure the removal of dust, contaminants, and residues.
- Clean and disinfect equipment, tools, and materials used in the clean room.
Compliance and Protocol Adherence:
- Follow established cleaning protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain a controlled environment.
- Adhere to cleanliness and contamination control standards required for clean room operations.
- Ensure that cleaning tasks are performed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Inspection and Reporting:
- Inspect areas to ensure that cleaning and sanitation tasks have been completed to the required standards.
- Report any maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or areas of concern to the Clean Room Supervisor.
- Document cleaning activities and maintain records of tasks performed.
Material Handling:
- Handle cleaning materials and equipment properly, ensuring they are used and stored in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the Clean Room Supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
Safety and Hygiene:
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, such as clean room suits, gloves, and masks.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and prevent contamination.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in training sessions and stay updated on best practices for clean room cleaning and maintenance.
- Provide feedback on cleaning processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
