Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and review HSE and Security policies, procedures, and standards in line with local and international regulations.
- Provide strong HSE leadership to promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.
- Conduct HSE risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement effective risk mitigation measures.
- Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented.
- Oversee security management systems to safeguard personnel, assets, and facilities.
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and preparedness activities.
- Monitor, analyze, and report HSE performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure environmental protection and sustainability practices that minimize operational impact.
- Plan and deliver HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, regulatory reporting, and collaborate with operations and other departments to integrate HSE into all activities.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Security Management or a related field.
- A Master\'s degree or professional certifications (NEBOSH, ISO 14001, or similar) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE & Security management, in the upstream oil and gas sector or energy sector.
- Proven experience leading HSE initiatives, security management and emergency response planning.
- Knowledge of relevant HSE regulations, safety standards and security protocols.
