The role involves welcoming clients, managing appointments, handling inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring smooth daily front desk operations while delivering excellent customer service.
Job Description
The Front Desk Officer will be responsible for creating a warm and professional first impression, coordinating bookings, supporting salon operations, and maintaining accurate records of client services and payments.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and attend to clients in a friendly and professional manner
Schedule and confirm appointments (walk-in, phone, and online bookings)
Manage calls, messages, and social media inquiries
Process payments (cash, POS, transfers) and issue receipts
Maintain client records and appointment logs
Coordinate with stylists and therapists to ensure smooth service flow
Handle client complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Promote salon services, packages, and products
Required Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation
Good organizational and multitasking ability
Basic computer literacy (POS, booking systems, social media)
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to work under pressure

Requirements
Education:
Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in any relevant field
Certification in Customer Service or Hospitality is an advantage
Experience:
3-4 years experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role
Experience in a beauty salon or hospitality industry is an added advantage
Other Requirements:
Must reside within reasonable proximity to the salon location (Lekki)
Must be punctual and reliable
Must maintain high standards of hygiene and professionalism
