Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Install, commission, and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure electrical systems comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on electrical installations.
Technical & Operational Duties:
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Supervise electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities on-site.
- Evaluate electrical loads and recommend upgrades or improvements where necessary.
- Select appropriate electrical materials, equipment, and tools for projects.
- Monitor power distribution systems, generators, transformers, and control panels.
Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce electrical safety procedures and best practices at all times.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with HSE and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, permits, and inspection records
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc. / B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering may be considered with relevant experience.
