Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the financial records of our fashion brand.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, handling daily financial operations, and supporting management with timely financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and books of accounts
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor expenses, budgets, and cash flow
- Handle payroll processing and staff salary payments
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
- Track inventory costs and production expenses
- Prepare and file statutory payments (PAYE, VAT, WHT, pensions, etc.)
- Support audit processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Work closely with management to improve financial controls and profitability.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2–4 years experience (fashion or retail experience is an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Nigerian tax regulations
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and reporting skills.
