We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a client
This role requires a seasoned technology leader with deep hands-on product development experience and a strong track record of building, scaling, and maintaining production systems.
Role Overview
The CTO will own the company’s end-to-end technology strategy, architecture, and engineering delivery.
You will be responsible for turning business and product ideas into scalable, secure, and reliable digital products while building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the company’s technology and product development strategy
Lead the design, development, and scaling of core digital products and platforms
Oversee system architecture, infrastructure, and technology stack decisions
Build, manage, and mentor engineering and product development teams
Ensure high standards of code quality, security, performance, and reliability
Partner closely with Product, Operations, and Business teams to deliver roadmaps
Drive agile development processes and engineering best practices
Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and regulatory standards
Own technical delivery timelines, risks, and execution outcomes
Support technical decision-making at executive and board levels
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
10 – 15+ years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership
5+ years in a senior leadership role (CTO, Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, or equivalent)
Proven experience building and shipping production products, not just managing teams
Strong background in full-stack development and modern system architecture
Experience scaling products from early-stage to high-traffic or enterprise environments
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, APIs, and system security
Experience working in regulated industries (fintech, banking, payments) is a strong advantage
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Nice to Have:
Experience leading fintech or financial services products
Experience working in high-growth startups or scale-ups
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures
Experience supporting fundraising, due diligence, or technical audits
