Job Description
- We are looking for a Brand Manager who is hands-on, sharp, and deeply attentive.
- Someone who can translate what’s happening inside the brand into clear, compelling communication for the outside world and keep our brand expression consistent across every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Storytelling + Newsletters:
- Create newsletter themes and story angles based on what’s happening inside the business
- Write and send newsletters that sound like Zashadu, not generic marketing
- Adapt messaging for different audiences (clients, press, partners, community)
Communication + Coordination:
- Respond to inbound brand communication (emails and enquiries) with clarity and warmth
- Support outbound communication when needed (follow-ups, outreach, updates)
- Liaise with our social media and media team to ensure alignment across channels
Brand Consistency + Quality Control:
- Ensure the brand is represented correctly across materials: copy, visuals, logos, printed assets, web updates
- Proofread and check messaging before anything goes out
- Work with the website manager to ensure the site stays current and on-brand
Creative Shoot + Retail Support:
- Work closely with the Creative Director and liaise with the creative team to support cohesive brand expression
- Support photo shoots with a brand eye: mood, angles, styling intention, messaging, and detail accuracy
- Assist with shoot preparation and follow-through (shot lists, reference alignment, caption direction support where needed)
- Liaise with the retail team to ensure in-store brand positioning, tone, and presentation stay consistent
- Help ensure what we communicate externally matches what we are building internally (creative, product, and customer experience)

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Fashion, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years proven experience as a Brand Manager or similar role, preferably within the fashion or lifestyle industry.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, branding, and consumer engagement.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with creative teams and managing campaigns.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms is an added advantage.
