Description
- We are looking for a control-focused operational bookkeeper who can independently manage daily financial discipline and protect the business financially.
Responsibilities
Must be able to:
- Reconcile daily sales vs POS vs cash
- Track inventory usage and discrepancies
- Manage petty cash and expenses
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports
- Process payroll accurately
- Identify inconsistencies or losses immediately
- Maintain clean records and audit trails
- Hospitality / restaurant / salon experience is strongly preferred.
Minimum Credentials
At least one of:
- OND / HND / BSc Accounting or Finance
- AAT / ATS / ICAN foundation or equivalent
- Formal bookkeeping training with practical experience
In addition:
- Strong Excel proficiency (formulas, reconciliations, reports)
- Experience using POS/EPOS systems
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar)
- Required Practical Skills (Non-negotiable)
